A space with music, seating areas and a bar, where spectators can have a drink, have a quiet chat and connect with other spectators, sharing their enthusiasm and expectations about the performances that await them.

The activity takes place in the Envelat, FITAG’s new performance space where artists work intensively to bring their theatrical performances to life. Well, you’re in luck, because the time has come to take off your mask…. or put it on! At FITAG we want to train young actors and actresses for the next editions of the festival. Sign up for our theatre workshop and jump from the seats to the stage for good.

Susanna and Joana will teach you the basic tools for you to leave the stage to applause. Body expression exercises, games to work on improvisation or dramatically funny scenes, the only thing missing is you!

Laura Giberga is the daughter of a long line of hairdressers and has taken this legacy to a new stage. After training in aesthetics as an alternative to her theatre studies, she has consolidated an outstanding career in the world of performing arts. With her participation in the theatre company Sienta la cabeza, Laura has managed to fuse her passion for hairdressing, make-up and show business in an experience that has been filling stages around the world for more than twenty years.

La Nuclear is a cultural consultancy and entity management company based in Girona, founded in 2019 by Nene Coca, a cultural activist with extensive experience in the artistic and associative sector. La Nuclear aims to be a tool to overcome difficulties: it offers a series of services to accompany and support artistic and cultural projects.

The session “Funding formulas for an amateur performing arts project” will present, in a simple and understandable way, different options for obtaining financial resources for the production of a non-profit theatre show. It will therefore be a practical guide for amateur artists and groups who want to carry out their performing arts projects but are faced with the challenge of financing them.

El Foment offers the chance to learn different traditional Catalan dances, with the aim of enriching the culture of Catalunya by learning to dance in a circle and practise the Catalan repertoire. Through this activity, participants will have the opportunity to delve into traditional dances from around the Catalan territory and learn dances related to different celebrations.

The activity will explore different dance styles, such as dancing in a circle and in couples, so that participants can experience a wide variety of rhythms and choreographies and discover the richness of the Catalan dance tradition. Emphasis will be placed on highlighting the particularities of each genre, such as timbre, tone, gesture and interpretative character, in order to raise awareness and disseminate the Catalan repertoire.

The Speakers’ Corner is a self-managed space designed to encourage interaction between the companies participating in the festival and the local amateur theatre community, where they can share their experiences, publicise their careers and propose debates on issues of common interest.

The main objective of the Speakers’ Corner is to encourage dialogue, collaboration and the exchange of ideas so that the work of the artists can be better known and professional contacts and synergies can be established to enrich the world of the performing arts.
