Synopsis

Four very unique couples of friends get together for dinner and to share food, drink, friendship and laughter. But the proposal of an innocent game will bring up misunderstandings, secrets, and lies, and will cause a series of unexpected mishaps, contradictions and tensions.

An incisive fable in vaudeville style about hypocrisy and the limits of intimacy.

In 2016, Paolo Genovese premiered the film Perfetti sconosciuti in Italy. A year later, the remake directed by Álex de la Iglesia, entitled Perfectos desconocidos, was presented in Spain. These have been the sources of inspiration for Línies obertes, which, beyond the satirical critique of the human condition, aims to be good theatrical entertainment.

Brief history of the group

Picking up the centuries-old theatrical tradition of Sant Hilari Sacalm, the Theatre Group began in 1980 with the performance of Els pastorets. It is made up of people passionate about theatre in all its variations, eager to share it, and to take on new challenges. In recent years, the company has collaborated closely with the Centre d’Arbúcies theatre group, and their latest shows are a result of this collaboration. This year is the third consecutive year they participate in FITAG, following El crèdit (2018) and Idiota (2019).
