MOLTA MERDA

Two very different people, with lives that have nothing in common, meet in a public restroom. Fate forces them to spend an unexpected time together in that sordid place.

The two individuals will try to solve the setback that’s causing them to fall apart and will face their problems in very different ways. The impatience of one and the madness of the other will lead us to a plot of unexpected twists that seeks, above all, the complicity and laughter of the spectators.

The Teatro Centro de Arbúcies group will celebrate its 151st anniversary this year, despite a six-year period of inactivity, after which the theater section was re-established in June 2012. It is a diverse group of people of very different ages, all with a common bond: a passion for theater. The company premieres a play each year, which is performed throughout the Girona region. In addition, the group performs gags and monologues, which it uses to participate in numerous festivals and also in charity events.

In recent years, the group has collaborated closely with the Santo Hilari Theater Group and Maçateatre de Maçanet de la Selva, and this collaboration has resulted in many joint plays and projects.

Jaume Fàbregas (at the Met) and Jordi Ferragut (at Fut) are two highly experienced actors who have performed in long-standing amateur theater groups, such as Santo Hilari and Arbúcies, and have also directed and facilitated them.
The two decided to create a joint play, TERAPÉUTICO, which has been performed across the country and garnered numerous awards and recognition. And now they continue united and motivated by this latest project, MOLTA MERDA.
