Lorca was working on Comedia sen título when he was murdered. Only the first act of his fascinating and revolutionary piece survives, but it already reveals a social critique of power and an intense look at society: the lack of sensitivity, blindness towards others, the hypocrisy of charity, the use of religion to justify everything… At the same time, it questions traditional and decadent theatre, proposing a radical change: bringing reality closer, tearing down the walls of what is false, and touching what beats inside every audience member. “Why do we go to the theatre? To see what happens, or to see what happens to us?”.

Everything takes place in the theatre, during a rehearsal of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, when suddenly a revolution breaks out in the streets: necessary, inevitable… and capable of stirring everything up inside.

Setestrelo Teatro was created in 2019 as a theatre workshop at the ONCE delegation in Vigo under the guidance of Mónica Sueiro, and took a major step forward at the end of 2023 by becoming an official ONCE artistic troupe. This transformation allowed them to gain access to more resources and bring their works to stages across the country. Since then, the group not only continues its theatrical training but also fully experiences participating in stage productions, taking on the entire process involved in being part of a theatre show.

Setestrelo consists of eleven actors and actresses, eight of whom have visual impairments. Most have been involved with the group since its inception, combining talent, dedication, and enthusiasm on stage.
