Into the Woods intertwines classic fairy tales with a profound exploration of desires, choices, and their consequences. A baker and his wife, driven by the wish to have a child, venture into the woods to break a curse. Along the way, they meet Little Red Riding Hood, Jack, Rapunzel, and Cinderella, each with their own dreams, becoming both allies and obstacles. Inside the woods, the characters face reality: they don’t always know what they truly wish for, and once they find out, what they dreamt of no longer fits who they are. There are no heroes or villains, only characters navigating between good and evil.

The company Quart Passadís presents the first official Catalan adaptation of this work, featuring a rawer, more intimate, and local perspective. A production with live musicians, innovative set design, and an atmosphere that will challenge how familiar stories can be told in a completely new way. Be careful what you wish for!

The Mirror

Quart Passadís was founded with the goal of adapting and producing musical theatre in Catalan, making it an integral part of our culture and increasing its visibility on Catalan stages. Since its inception, the company has produced musicals such as Rent and Les Misérables, crafted with meticulous attention to language and artistic direction, and warmly received by both audiences and critics. The team consists of professionals from diverse fields: musical theatre, opera, chamber music, voice acting, and dance. This brings an innovative perspective that blends influences to create a unique and signature style. They believe in the magic of musical theatre and its power to connect with the audience. They are eager to bring fresh stories to our stage and move away from the traditional repertoire, recognizing a vast range of musicals never before performed in our country that tell crucial stories for their audience. These are the stories they want to share with Catalonia.
