Maru-Jasp is a theatre company founded in 1997 which, after twenty-nine years of activity, has consolidated a trajectory marked by passion, continuous training, and participation in national and international contests, receiving over two hundred awards[cite: 8]. It has premiered classical and contemporary plays, and since 2004 it has also conducted acting workshops[cite: 8]. It has toured its productions outside Spain, such as in France and Algeria, and explored new formats including radio theatre and radio shows[cite: 8].

At festivals like FITAG in Girona, the company has collaborated with other groups and developed projects with strong social impact, such as the one dedicated to Francisca de Pedraza, a pioneer in reporting gender-based violence[cite: 8].

In recent years, it has premiered plays such as El manual de la buena esposa, Entrepasos, La reina cautiva, and Tal vez soñar[cite: 8]. Additionally, it has taken part in short films, micro-theatre, street theatre, and collaborated with NGOs and cultural entities[cite: 8].
