Grup de teatre El Mirall
A production in which three of the most emblematic works of Greek theatre have been synthesized, each in under thirty minutes, while connecting their stories with current reality (vicarious violence, human dignity regarding the right to a proper burial, and war). At the same time, three strong women stand up to the established power.
A play that, due to its duration and focus, is highly educational and brings three iconic classics within everyone’s reach. With this production, El Mirall kicked off its 40th anniversary celebrations.
El mirall
The theatre group El Mirall is a collective that began its journey during the 1985-1986 academic year at the J. Ruyra public school (La Vila) in Blanes, through a workshop taught by Josep Alum to promote knowledge of the theatre world among children and young people from a creative perspective. The group’s activities have focused on three areas: educational initiatives, production of shows, and ongoing group training.
Over their forty-year history, they have premiered more than fifty productions. Their most recent shows are Hellas, premiered in 2025 to mark the company’s 40th anniversary, and Revers, also premiered in 2025 for the 40th anniversary, which recently won the 37th Ciutat de Tàrrega Award.
