La Mirandolina is a play about an innkeeper who leads her guests on a chase, until she finds one who resists her charms. Written in the 18th century by Venetian playwright Carlo Goldoni, it remains a very current play that speaks of femininity, of a free, cheerful, and witty woman. In short, a fresh and funny comedy that challenges gender roles and social hierarchies with humor and elegance.

Traspunt Teatre

The theatre group Traspunt is one of the historic and most representative cultural entities of Caldes de Malavella (la Selva). As a true amateur theatre company rooted in the territory, its trajectory is closely linked to the social life of the town and to the passion for theatre shared by different generations of local actors and actresses.

The group was born in 1958, founded by Joan Vidal and Emili Bota, with the aim of boosting local culture through performing arts. The name Traspunt (referring to the prompter, the person behind the scenes who helps actors remember their lines) already shows its fully theatrical and team-oriented character, in a project where everyone—both those on stage and those backstage—is essential.

Over the years, Traspunt has offered a repertoire of plays ranging from comedies to adapted classics and original creations. The group’s aim has always been to take the stage to offer theatre made with heart, well-crafted, and with the objective of entertaining and bringing joy to audiences in every town where they perform.
