Las horas serenas delves into the territory where truth, silence, and memory become uncomfortable. In this dialogue between shadow and light, between the author and her researcher, the play becomes a living thesis on authorship, identity, and reparation. It is time and memory, present and oblivion. The work is not satisfied with merely restoring a name, but rather questions the very mechanism of truth. Because the greatest act of justice is daring to look serenely at what has always been present: the evidence. In the quiet rumor of history, the voice and words of María de la O Lejárraga emerge with an absolutely modern and revealing burst of light. Because María is a beacon and guide. That is why science exists, that is why knowledge exists. Researching heals, repairs, is evolution, is knowledge, is… truth.
